Dear Parents/Guardians of Literature and Film students:
Literature and Film will introduce students to both the literary and cinematic aspects of selected films. Students will read novels, plays, and short stories throughout the semester while also viewing their film adaptations. Student will reflect on relationships between the literary works and the films, as well as examine the different film-making techniques that are shown in the films such as lighting, cinematography, camera angles, and editing.
Since this is an elective course, your child has chosen to be in this class. In order for your child to continue to be a part of this class, I will need your permission for him or her to watch the films listed below (in part or in full). If you object to your child viewing any or all of these movies, please contact me via email: [email protected]
